The Dane Elec DA-ZMP2-4096-R Pen Drive can hold up to 4GB of data. This small and practical flash drive works at a high level of performance and allows you to carry all sorts of files with you such as music, video, spreadsheets, text, pdf, etc. The zMate Pen Drive is certified High-Speed USB 2.0 while backwards compatible with USB 1.1.
Its technical features include AND or NAND Flash Memory with 110 mA power consumption and 500uA suspend current. It can support Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Linux Kernel 2.4.10 and more, Mac OS 9.x or higher without device drivers. |
The drive is relatively inexpensive and very fast when used with a USB 2.0 port. It can be quickly and effortlessly recognized by different operating systems. The designing of this drive is rather poor and the ring is quite flimsy, and the hole where the ring is inserted is so small that you cannot really replace it with a thicker, sturdier one.
Even the cap is very poorly designed. In most USB drives the caps "clicks" into place. This one does not and only "slides" onto the drive. Despite being good in performance this gadget suffers from insignificant designing. |
